So, for a little while yesterday I was living inside of a giant cupcake. I’m home this week painting our downstairs, I had already painted the walls when I went to paint the ceiling (yes, I know that’s not the right order) and that’s when I saw it. The walls are a pretty blue and the ceiling paint (bought long ago) is pink. Holy crap, I felt like I was on South Beach and the cast from Miami Vice was coming over. It was BAD. I had to change direction and think on my next step. I worked on other things thinking “I’ll let it dry and then it will be alright”. I was very wrong. Needless to say I ended up at Lowe’s looking at my options. Don’t worry, everything is fine now. I went with a white with a hint of blue or gray depending on the light.

One last detail for your imagination, the curtains I had bought for the room . . . natural linen. Crockett, Tubbs, are you there?
